JOB DESCRIPTION:

Join this leading investment firm as a Senior Sales and Equity Trader providing a full range of stockbroking services supported by strong management and

administrative capabilities. Our client pride themselves on product innovation and client service. One of their key strengths is the
ability to devise solutions for your individual needs, with all our expertise at your disposal. This leading firm provides a full range of
stockbroking solutions including; traditional trade executions (non-discretionary/self-managed portfolio), an advisory
portfolio, full service stockbroking service into all of the frontier markets of Sub-Saharan Africa and specialist research
integrating both a macro and micro market view.

The purpose of the Senior Sales and Equity role is to ensure that trading and investment ideas are sold to clients and
the accurate executing , monitoring, and reporting of trades ideas to clients is maintained.

Key Outputs:

 Trade executions and relationship building
 Selling trading and investment ideas to clients
 Ensuring best execution for client orders based on instructions.
 Executing, monitoring and reporting trades to clients.
 Ensuring internal and external risk measures are adhered to in compliance with company, JSE and
FSB rules
 Preparing commentary from the morning meeting and any other relevant research
 Understanding of clients’ investment processes and share movements.
 Responding promptly to all client engagements
 Keeping clients abreast of all relevant updates

Experience and Qualifications

Qualifications:

 Relevant tertiary qualification
 JSE Qualification

Experience:

 Minimum 5 years institutional sales and equity trading
 Strong institutional relationships an advantage
 Proficient in Hermes, Bloomberg and eCube
 Knowledge of the Swiss quote and Velocity platforms an advantage
