JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our client, an expanding and well established building company, specialising in upmarket residential and commercial building projects, seeks to employ a Senior Foreman/Site Manager, to join their growing company in the Winelands, with projects in the Overberg.

The role will initially be on a 6 month contract, with the potential for permanency.

Accommodation is provided

THE KEY REQUIREMENTS FOR CONSIDERATION:

You will have completed a tertiary qualification in Construction Management, or related field, coupled with 10 years experience in managing sites, at various stages of construction phases, in concrete, steel and post-tension
You will have a solid and proven career history in leading a team on site, to ensure HSE and the highest quality of workmanship.
You will have good administrative skills to maintain project reporting, quality reporting and NCR submissions, as well as any contract deviations, expenses and material issues that may arise.
You will have exceptionally superior organisational skills, be able to work on multiple projects effectively and ensure deadlines and quality are met, at the highest standard.
Experience using MS Projects and Advanced Excel is essential
Fluency in English and Afrikaans is essential and preference given to those currently resident in the Western Cape Region, to start immediately
