POSITION INFO:

Our client is looking for a Site Operations Director to oversee the operations of a processing, freezing, and storage facility, ensuring efficiency, safety, and compliance. This role involves strategic leadership across multiple departments, including engineering, security, and logistics, while driving continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement strategies to enhance efficiency, productivity, and quality in site operations.
Lead and manage teams across engineering, fish processing, internal security, and logistics.
Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations, including HACCP, ISO, and ASC standards.
Oversee budgeting, cost control, and financial planning for operations.
Maintain high standards of equipment maintenance to minimize downtime.
Manage relationships with stakeholders, regulatory bodies, and suppliers.
Monitor site security, ensuring effective protection of assets and operations.
Drive continuous improvement through innovation and best practices in processing and engineering.
Support feed logistics and stock management, working with suppliers and transporters to ensure efficient distribution.
Collaborate with leadership on strategic decision-making and operational enhancements.

Minimum 10 years of experience in plant management, preferably in cold processing or food manufacturing.
Security-related experience is an advantage.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Economics, or a related field.
