JOB SUMMARY:
Our client in the Finance and Distribution industry is looking for an organized individual to assume

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The role responsibilities are centered around building a profitable and mutually beneficial relationships with the companies suppliers.
The incumbent will report to the Supplier Development Manager.

Duties & Responsibilities

Provide the highest level of service to suppliers you are responsible for and in so doing, deliver growth for the supplier resulting in added revenue.
Become a trusted advisor and build a trusting relationship with suppliers, fostering confidence and goodwill, thereby understanding, and meeting their needs leveraging the and services the company offers.
Liaises with informal business owners in maintaining their product database and store profile.
Coordinate and maintain online orders from suppliers.
Raise awareness and promote the value proposition including current and new services with all suppliers.
Conduct supplier reviews to assess their performance, their needs and make recommendations that will drive mutual growth.
Conduct an annual supplier review to discuss and negotiate trading terms for the new financial year.
Responsible for the attainment of Supplier Development targets each month as part of the business intent to grow.

Qualifications

Grade 12 with Mathematics.
3 years’ proven experience in building effective Supplier Relationships within an FMCG environment
Relevant 3-year National Diploma will be advantageous
Computer literate
Strong MS Office skills with a specific focus on Excel (Powerpoint, Word, Outlook)
