POSITION INFO:

Our client, a leading player in the Cosmetics industry, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supply Chain Manager to join their dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of the end-to-end supply chain function and drive operational excellence within a fast-paced and innovative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supplier Management:
  • Identify, evaluate, and recommend qualified suppliers for raw materials, packaging, and other critical components.
  • Negotiate contracts to ensure competitive pricing, timely delivery, and compliance with quality standards.
  • Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, including performance monitoring and issue resolution.
• Inventory & Planning:
  • Manage inventory levels across the supply chain to minimize stockouts and excess inventory.
  • Collaborate with production and cross-functional teams to ensure efficient production planning.
  • Maintain robust inventory management systems (e.g., ERP, WMS) to optimize stock levels.
• Process Improvement:
  • Continuously analyze the supply chain to identify areas for improvement.
  • Implement process enhancements, such as lean manufacturing principles, to boost efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Conduct regular supply chain audits to ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards.
• Risk Management:
  • Identify and assess potential supply chain risks, including natural disasters, political instability, and economic fluctuations.
  • Develop and implement contingency plans to mitigate disruptions.
• Sustainability & Compliance:
  • Develop and implement sustainable practices across the supply chain.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and ethical standards.
• Team Leadership:
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of procurement, warehousing, and planning professionals.
  • Foster a collaborative and results-oriented work environment.
  • Recruit, train, and develop talent within the supply chain department.

Qualifications & Experience:

• A degree or diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 10 years of experience in Supply Chain Management, with at least 5 years at a managerial level in the Cosmetics/Pharma/Food/FMCG industries.
• Proven experience in forecasting within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and process improvement skills.
• Proficient in MS Office and Supply Chain Management software (e.g., ERP systems).
• Outstanding communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
