JOB DESCRIPTION:

An exciting opportunity awaits a dynamic, well-organized and technical savvy leader to oversee and head up our client's technical and operational functions from business development, design, project implementation, operations (including maintenance and monitoring), and commercial offers. Also, you will need to head up the implementation of suitable IT and technical systems infrastructures. This role will cover the full range of operational responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

Assist in establishing and driving a clear technical strategy for the business
Identify and negotiate key technology partners
Establish innovative solutions that lead to differentiation in the market
Leverage technology strategy across the organization
Assessing and managing key EPC’s
Establish a continuous improvement process
Make sure operational risk is mitigated via underpinning contracts with technology partners and contractors
Establish a services catalogue
Management of project execution timeously and with budgets
Supervising project execution
To travel nationally and internationally.

QUALIFICATIONS

Matric as a minimum
BSc Degree or Degree in Engineering
Management, MBA or Business Degree or equivalent will be an added advantage

EXPERIENCE

At least 5 years of Solar/Renewable Energy industry knowledge on the back of at least 10 years of experience in management, covering Strategy, Operations, Sales, Finance, Projects and Technology.
