SUMMARY:
We are currently looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Reporting and Tax Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. If you are passionate about tax accounting and financial reporting, and enjoy working in a collaborative environment, this role is for you!

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS).
Manage tax compliance processes, including the preparation and filing of federal, state, and local tax returns.
Assist with preparing and reviewing tax provisions, ensuring compliance with all tax laws and regulations.
Collaborate with external Auditors and Consultants to provide the necessary documentation and support.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax regulations, accounting principles, and changes in legislation.
Support the finance team in monthly and year-end close processes.
Conduct research on complex tax matters and provide recommendations for tax optimization strategies.
Ensure the timely and accurate reporting for all tax filings, including income tax, VAT/GST, property tax, and payroll taxes.
Prepare reconciliations of tax accounts and assist with any ad hoc financial reporting projects.

Qualifications:

CA(SA)
Completed SAICA articles with at least 1 year in the commercial space
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in tax accounting and financial reporting
Strong knowledge of GAAP/IFRS and federal, state, and local tax regulations
