JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our client is one of South Africa’s most prestigious concerns within their industry sector. They are a listed conglomerate however, they believe in maintaining a close-knit team culture. They are currently seeking an energetic, ambitious and proficient individual to join their team in the role of Assistant Tax Specialist. The successful incumbent will assist to all tax functions or areas within the company, which may include but not be limited to Corporate Income Tax, International Tax, Transfer Pricing, VAT and more

Education and Experience:

B.Com Honours Degree in Taxation or Accounting
Newly qualified CA(SA) OR SAIT Accountant
Must have strong exposure to Financial Services, Insurance or similar
IFRS17 exposure highly advantageous

Skills:

Must be analytically strong and posses strong verbal and written communication skills
Must be able to work in a high-pressure environment and meet strict deadlines
Must have proficient knowledge and experience in Taxation and be serious about a career in this field
