• P&L management of Dams and Hydropower Sector
• Forecasting of revenue and expenditure
• Budget planning
• Management of project invoicing
• Management of accounts receivable
• Strategic Planning

Team Management:

• Responsible to manage and lead the Hydropower and Dams team
• Personnel performance management
• Develop and ensure good team morale and spirit
• Utilization forecasting and team management
• Personnel skill assessment and development

Project Management:

• Successful completion of projects
• Quality management according to the company procedures
• Mentoring and guidance of project managers in a project director role

Business development:

• Engagement of potential and existing clients on future projects
• Business Opportunity management
• Opportunity risk assessment
• Proposal management
• Sourcing of partners for opportunities
• Bid cost estimation

Engineering:

• Hydropower and Dam Engineering lead
• Mentoring of project team
• Approval and sign-off of designs
• Review of design/study reports

Profile

Technical Director - Hydropower & Dams

Centurion, Gauteng

Minimum Requirements :

* At least 15 years' experience in hydropower/dams and general water engineering
* Fluent in English (Ability to speak/write French will be an added benefit)
* Management experience of teams of 10 people or more
* Project management experience of projects with a revenue of R 30 Million or more
Preferred Qualifications :
* Bachelor in Civil/Mechanical Engineering (Master's degree will be preferred)
* Professionally Registered
