JOB SUMMARY:
The ideal candidate for this position will have at least 6 years' warehouse experience, preferably in the FMCG industry. Computer literacy ideally on ERP as well as a management background are essentials. Vaccinations partially or fully completed.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Requirements

Based in Durban (Briardene)
Must have stable employment history (not lots of job hopping
Minimum 6-year experience in warehouse environment - Preferably FMCG industry
Stock holding – approx. R 5m
Warehouse size – approx. 900 sqm
Diploma an advantage, but not essential
Matric essential
Computer literate, preferably with ERP experience
Must be COVID vaccinated, or going for vaccines

Duties include:

Full supervision of all Receiving (containers) and Despatch (via courier, local deliveries, collections) of stock
Control daily picking, packing, despatch of stocks for customers
Packing of stock onto shelves once containers have been received.
Management of warehouse staff complement of 2 additional employees.
Assist with stock take, as well as rolling stock counts.
Control over returns, credit notes, swaps.
