We are looking for a Business Partner: People and Culture professional who you will play a strategic role in aligning HR initiatives with business objectives to drive organizational success. You will work closely with leadership and employees to foster a high-performance culture, improve employee engagement, and provide expert guidance on HR-related matters. 

What you’ll do:

• Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders on all HR matters, including workforce planning, performance management, and organizational development.
• Partner with leadership to implement HR strategies that support business goals.
• Drive talent management initiatives, including succession planning, career development, and leadership coaching.
• Support recruitment efforts by collaborating with hiring managers to identify and attract top talent.
• Manage employee relations by addressing concerns, resolving conflicts, and ensuring compliance with labor laws.
• Lead performance management processes, providing coaching and support for managers.
• Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives to build an inclusive workplace.
• Work on compensation and benefits strategies to attract and retain key talent.
• Oversee change management efforts, ensuring smooth transitions during organizational shifts.
• Analyze HR metrics and workforce trends to make data-driven decisions.

Your expertise:

• At least 1.5+ years of experience in an HRBP or similar HR role.
• Strong knowledge of labor laws, compliance, and best HR practices.
• Demonstrated experience in managing complex IR matters including retrenchment processes, experience at the CCMA etc.
• Proven ability to influence and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Qualifications required:

• Relevant Degree in HR or Business
