COMMERCIAL AND PROJECTS MANAGER (Automotive or Manufacturing Industry)

Structure, organize and direct the Commercial and Projects Department to achieve company objectives. Manage all commercial responsibilities to achieve company targets as well as all stakeholder satisfaction. Ensure that all new customer projects are planned, managed and implemented efficiently.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Ensure all parts selling prices are updated each quarter according to customer’s rules obtain approval from customer and update SAP internally.
• Review and ensure purchasing and sales prices are approved & aligned ito BOM costs with in time pass through to customers
• Implement & manage robust product margin strategy. Develop a matrix to achieve & maintain visible and sustainable margins per product.
• Implement localization strategy in line with customer and corporate requirements.
• Liaise with customers regarding projects in terms of timing, costing, supply, quality, and quantity requirements.
• Prepare quotations (selling prices, development and tooling) for each modification or new product and negotiate with customer to get purchase orders.
• Manages all new customer projects to ensure compliance to standards, deadlines and ensure effective cross-functional interaction and support.
• Ensure that new tools and machines specifications are correct.
• Manage Inchange and Inpro activities for the plant.
• Apply a continuous improvement philosophy.
• Complete required monthly/ annual reports.
• Management Systems, Human Resources, Health and Safety, Quality, HIV/AIDS, etc.

Experience & Qualifications

• Relevant Degree/Diploma or qualified by experience.
• Three to five years’ experience in a similar role.
• Five years’ experience in a manufacturing environment involvement in Production control, Logistics and Finance.
• Experience in foreign languages (French, and German) – advantageous

• Proficient in Microsoft (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Systems) – advance level
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Good Managerial and Commercial skills.
