Chief Operations Officer

POSITION INFO:
A high-performance manufacturer in the non-woven and technical textiles space is seeking a true operator — not a caretaker, not a functional head, but a COO who has built, fixed, scaled, and delivered at an industrial level.

This role exists for one reason: To drive measurable growth, operational dominance, and long-term enterprise value.

What You Will Own:
You will take full control of the business engine — from plant floor to boardroom.

• Define and execute a multi-year growth strategy across domestic and export markets
• Expand into high-value technical textile applications (filtration, hygiene, medical, and industrial)
• Drive EBITDA growth through disciplined cost control and operational efficiency
• Lead end-to-end operations: Manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and maintenance
• Transform plant performance through Lean, Six Sigma, and capacity optimisation
• Build sourcing strategies that secure cost advantage and supply stability
• Establish world-class quality, compliance, and ESG standards
• Develop a leadership bench capable of scaling with the business

• Measurable improvement in profitability, throughput, and cost base
• A supply chain that is resilient, efficient, and commercially competitive
• Expansion into new markets and higher-margin product segments
• A leadership team that performs without dependency
• A business that moves from operational to strategic maturity

• You have 10–15 years in textile / non-woven / technical manufacturing
• You’ve held roles such as COO, CEO, Business Head, or Plant Head
• You understand machines, margins, markets, and people equally well
• You have scaled operations, fixed inefficiencies, and driven real financial outcomes
• You are fluent in manufacturing discipline and commercial reality
• You are comfortable making high-stakes decisions with incomplete data
• You build teams that perform — and remove those that don’t

• Degree in Textile Engineering / Mechanical / Production (non-negotiable)
• MBA (advantageous, but execution matters more than theory)
• Deep understanding of non-woven / technical textiles
• Proven ability to drive profitability, not just manage operations

• Shape the direction of a specialised industrial business
• Operate with Board-level visibility and influence
