POSITION INFO:
A leading organisation within the mining, engineering, and construction sector is seeking a Commercial Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing commercial operations, managing contracts and tenders, supporting financial performance, and ensuring sound commercial governance across the business. Key Responsibilities: Manage and oversee the tender process from submission to award Lead customer, supplier, and contract negotiations Ensure effective commercial risk management and contract compliance Drive profitability through accurate costing and commercial analysis Manage and review Bills of Materials (BOMs) Monitor and analyse Profit & Loss performance Collaborate with finance and operational teams to support business objectives Utilise ERP systems such as SAP or Syspro for commercial and reporting functions Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders Support strategic decision-making through commercial and financial insights Job Experience and Skills Required: BCom Degree or higher qualification Minimum 5 years' experience in a commercial management role Experience within the Mining, Engineering, or Construction industries is essential Strong tender management experience Proven experience in customer and contract negotiations Solid finance and commercial background Working knowledge of SAP or Syspro Experience with costing and Bills of Materials (BOMs) Strong understanding of Profit & Loss management Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities Apply now!
