JOB SUMMARY:
We have a permanent Vacancy for a Data Engineering Lead-Data and Insight Engineer in Samrand.

The delivery of reliable, on-time, efficient & high-quality data analytics solutions and professional services that will enable the Company to make faster and more informed decisions based on insights generated from this capability

JOB DESCRIPTION:

PLEASE NOTE THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE MUST HAVE A BSc, BCom or BEng minimum with one of the 6 Major Universities. 5 + years experience in Business Intelligence/Data Analytics/Data Science/Modelling/Statics, Programming and Statistical computer language such as R, Python, SQL.

Working knowledge of Business Intelligence principles & best practices

Experience working with and creating data
Knowledge of a variety of machine learning techniques (clustering, decision tree learning, artificial neural networks,) and their real-world advantages/drawbacks.

Experience creating and using advanced machine learning algorithms and statistics: regression, simulation, scenario analysis, modelling, clustering, decision trees, neural networks,
A high level of mathematical ability
Assess the effectiveness of data sources and data-gathering techniques and improve data collection methods
Stay up to date with the latest technology, techniques and methods

Support:

Inform strategic and faster decision making through the availability of critical data sets, insights and modelling for D&IT and Imperial
The team to achieve joint targets and deliverables

Process and delivery:

Be the Team Lead for a team of Business Intelligence Developers:
Help manage team performance as part of sprint. The team must reliably deliver on sprint backlog
Help ensure team efficiency through accurate work estimates and completion against estimates as per sprint plan
Help manage technical work allocation per sprint
Facilitate Sprint planning 2: How to solve problems
Help ensure quality of team
Help ensure process & tooling adoption and utilization
Help ensure the technical competence of the Team
