POSITION INFO:
You will be part of a high-performing finance function within a globally recognised FMCG organisation that prioritises sustainability, innovation, and responsible business practices. The business operates across complex supply chains and large-scale manufacturing environments, with a strong commitment to reducing its environmental footprint while maintaining strong financial performance.

This role is ideal for a Financial Manager who thrives in a dynamic, operationally complex environment and enjoys partnering with both finance and non-finance stakeholders to drive strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the full financial management function, including budgeting, forecasting, and monthly reporting
Drive ESG-aligned financial reporting and sustainability disclosures in line with global reporting standards
Oversee cost control initiatives across manufacturing, procurement, and supply chain operations
Ensure compliance with IFRS, tax, VAT, and internal governance frameworks
Prepare and review monthly management accounts and provide actionable financial insights
Support strategic decision-making through financial modelling and scenario analysis
Partner with operations and supply chain teams to improve efficiency and reduce waste
Manage audit processes and ensure strong internal controls across the finance function
Contribute to long-term sustainability and green economy initiatives through financial planning

Job Experience & Skills Required (Ideal Candidate Profile):

CA(SA), CIMA, or equivalent financial qualification (essential)
5–8 years’ experience in a Financial Manager or similar senior finance role
Strong background in FMCG, manufacturing, or large-scale operational environments
Solid understanding of IFRS, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
Exposure to ESG reporting, sustainability metrics, or green finance is highly advantageous
Strong commercial acumen with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, global, and transformation-driven environment
