Head of Finance

A multinational pharmaceutical company is seeking a Head of Finance to join their dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will come from the pharmaceutical/manufacturing/FMCG industry.

Education:

• CA(SA)

Skills/Experience required:

• 5 – 10 years post article experience
• Pharmaceutical/Manufacturing industry experience
• Advanced SAP experience

Job Description:

• Finalisation of Accounts, Ensuring Financial profitability of the region
• To Improve EBIDTA as per Business/ Management requirement.
• Product Costing & gross contribution analysis, Business pricing
• Ensures compliance of Statutory and accounting standards & keeps regular track of amendments in commercial laws
• Monitors and ensures timely payments to creditors & debtors
• Monitors and rationalizes the activities related to accounts
• Monitors all monthly/Qtrly/Annual accounts for MIS & Audit
• To ensure timely payment of all employee expenses - salaries , Incentives, reimbursements on time
• Collection & compilation of Data relates to VAT, Customs Duty, tax & remittance on due date to statutory authorises.
• Submission of Monthly & annual returns to statutory bodies before due dates.
• Appear for annual assessment with appropriate hearings with tribunal authorities & ensure assessments completions certificates are obtained.
• Responsible for preparing, presenting and controlling the budget.
• Monitoring business performance of the unit against budget & recommending the management for course corrections in due time.
• Pricing decision to protect margin, calculating distributor return on Investment & part of decision making team for distributor margins.
• Creating & Monitoring Secondary Sales & Stock MIS for each customer & SKU
• Ensuring that company records are kept properly in accordance with local accounting standards, IFRS and other regulatory laws and regulations
• Ensuring compliance with all accounting standards. (IFRS, Indian GAAP)
• Ensuring that all transactions are conducted in compliance with the SOP and the Delegation of Authority
• To take necessary measures to reduce the risk of work by advising the Management of the company.
• Ensures timely availability of finished products in accordance with sales plan across different items and SKUs
• Coordinating with India & Dubai supply chain for timely servicing of orders.
• Meets FG dispatch requirement of Sales in liaison with production.
• Timely notice of changes in dispatch plans to all concerned functions.
• Provide plan to Planning based on need & demand.
• Ensure proper documentation & timely Clarence of containers at Customers end.
