JOB SUMMARY:
My cutting edge FMCG client is currently looking for a hands-on Management Accountant to join their team on the East Rand. This position requires plant visits often and is looking for an individual with experience in FMCG / Manufacturing environments.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Qualifications required:

BCom / BTech / similar degree in management accounting or accounting related
Post Graduate diploma / degree is beneficial
CIMA in progress is also beneficial

Skills and experience required:

Minimum of 2 - 5 years’ experience in a management accounting position.
Experience within the FMCG / Manufacturing industry is required
Stock take and management experience
Strong communication skills
Strong excel skills
Excellent analytical skills
Excellent problem solving skills

Job description:

Management accounts
Budgeting and forecasting
Fixed asset register
Stock-take and inventory management
Variance and financial analysis
Preparation of Tax related documents
Strategic and business planning
Providing management with recommendations on solutions to problems
