My client is looking for a highly capable Management Accountant to help management accounting team to produce accurate and timely financial reports.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The successful incumbent will be responsible for:

Preparing financial reports, forecasts and budgets including weekly factory performance reports and weekly performance forecasts and monthly cost and management accounts.
Coordination of the factory financial management reporting.
Maintaining a focus on material costs, production costs and ensuring that all costs are accurately recorded and that inventory numbers are properly maintained.
Managing performance against budgets and provide variance analysis.
Analyzing key financial data and advising senior management on key performance metrics.
Contributing to the development of best financial management policies and procedures and ensuring that these are adhered to.
Ensuring that operational activities is done in accordance with set procedures and that the ERP system accurately reflects the financial position.
Stock reconciliations and co-ordination of stock counts.

The ideal candidate has:

Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
Currently studying or completed CIMA.
A minimum of 5 - 10 years' experience in finance preferably as a management accountant in a FMCG related business.
