SUMMARY:
We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established South African manufacturer and supplier of comminution and process equipment for the mining and minerals processing industry.

POSITION INFO:

Duties & Responsibilities

Drive strategic pipeline growth across Comminution and Process Equipment product lines
Achieve annual order intake targets while maintaining gross margins above 20%
Manage the full sales cycle from opportunity identification through to project handover
Compile and present high-quality technical proposals and tender documents
Manage commercial and legal risk on large capital tenders (R15m+)
Conduct site visits, plant assessments, and technical audits
Identify new market segments and grow the customer base
Mentor and provide leadership to the sales team

Experience & Qualifications

Degree in Engineering, Process Engineering, Metallurgy, or related field
8–12 years of capital equipment sales experience in Mining or Minerals Processing
Demonstrated track record closing large capital tenders
Familiarity with comminution equipment (jaw, gyratory, cone, impact, roll crushers) and/or process separation equipment (sensor sorting, jigs, classifiers, magnetic separation)
Experience with structured sales methodologies (Mercuri or equivalent)
Valid driver's licence, own transport, and willingness to travel
