Skills:

- Minimum 5-year experience on scales & packaging machines (electrical or mechanical)

- Experience in FMCG sector would be advantageous

- Maintenance and sales experience

- Project Management capabilities (qualifications not required)

- Computer skills (to include reporting to customers/suppliers, e-mails, excel and word)

- Be able to work under pressure

- Excellent verbal/written communication with customer and supplier

- Good personal hygiene

- Be able to prioritize

Responsibilities:

February to July – Sales Function

August to January: Field service at current customers

Current Areas: Limpopo, Namibia, Northern Cape, Western Cape

- Achieve sales and service targets

- Supplier consignment stock

- Servicing and support of customers in packhouses

- Advising customers on recommended spares

- Providing service reports and quotations to the customers

- Scheduling customers visits and routes

- Making own travel arrangements

- Formal Reporting to customers (after a service/visit)

- Formal Reporting to the office

- Production Assistance

- Training of operators

- Machine Setup

- Main contact with customer

- Managing financial budget

- Checking and reporting on Job Costing
