JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job Title: Sales Manager

Reporting to: Regional Sales Manager

Department: Sales

Hours of Work depending on operational and performance needs of the business agreed to on a monthly pre planned rota.

45 hours per week (exclusive of breaks). Variable shifts to include evenings and weekends.

Or 6-day week at 40 hours a week (exclusive of breaks). These shifts include evenings and weekends.

Purpose of role:
To achieve overall club sales budgets to contribute to the club’s profitability.

Ensure a fully staffed sales team that match the attributes necessary to achieve sales according to budget.

It is the objective of the Sales Manager to manage, train, motivate and control the Sales team in the pursuit of the team’s set goals and budgets to contribute to the club’s budgeted profitability.

To have a fully staffed team, that are continually trained and competent and have the various skills required to represent Ignite Fitness in the Club's marketplace.

Ensure that the Sales team represent the Brand according to our Company Standards

Use the sales team to achieve the monthly new membership sales revenue targets
Manage the quality of sales and ensure all paperwork associated with new joiners meet company standards

SALES PERFORMANCE - ACHIEVEMENT OF MONTHLY SALES TARGETS

Minimum requirements:

Share a keen interest and passion for health and fitness
2 year Sales Management Experience (any industry), with a successful track record
Resilient goal setter and team player – who will have the effort to go the extra mile
Own car and lives in the vicinity of Ignite Fitness, Menlyn
Ability to assess market opportunities, plan sales activity and manage implementation of such
Ability to practically coach and train individuals on how to conduct face to face lead generation, cold calling and presentations
A professional persona with the ability to penetrate the B2B market
Strong sales administration skills with an eye for detail
Ability to work shifts that include weekends and public holidays
