Position Overview The Sales & Marketing Director is responsible for leading the strategic growth of the organisation through the development and execution of innovative sales, marketing, branding and customer engagement strategies. The role is accountable for achieving occupancy targets across the independent living, assisted living and care offerings while building a trusted and respected brand within the senior living sector. A key requirement of this position is the ability to leverage digital marketing and social media platforms to generate high-quality leads, educate prospective residents and their families, and position the organisation as a market leader in retirement living. The successful candidate will combine strategic leadership with hands-on execution, working closely with operational teams to ensure an exceptional customer journey from first enquiry through to occupation.   Key Responsibilities Sales Leadership Develop and execute annual sales strategies to achieve occupancy and revenue targets Build, mentor and lead a high-performing sales team Implement sales processes that maximise conversion rates from enquiry through to occupation Manage the sales pipeline using CRM software and produce regular performance reports Develop referral partnerships with healthcare providers, financial advisers, estate planners and community organisations Analyse market trends and competitor activity to identify new growth opportunities   Marketing & Brand Strategy Develop and manage the company's overall marketing strategy in conjunction with the Fedgroup marketing team Strengthen brand awareness and market positioning. Oversee advertising campaigns across traditional and digital platforms. Manage marketing budgets and ensure measurable return on investment. Coordinate photography, videography, brochures, website content and promotional materials.   Digital & Social Media Leadership A significant portion of this role focuses on digital engagement and social media. Responsibilities include: Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube and emerging platforms. Build a strong online community that reflects the organisation's culture and values. Produce engaging content including videos, resident stories, educational articles and lifestyle features. Create campaigns that generate qualified enquiries and increase brand visibility. Manage paid digital advertising campaigns. Optimise SEO and website performance. Monitor social media analytics and continually improve campaign effectiveness. Respond professionally to online enquiries and manage the organisation's online reputation. Stay abreast of digital marketing trends, AI-powered marketing tools and changing consumer behaviours.     Customer Experience Design and continually improve the prospective resident journey in conjunction with the CEO and Group Operations manager. Ensure all enquiries receive timely, professional follow-up. Develop customer relationship programmes that encourage referrals. Measure customer satisfaction and implement improvements.   Business Development Identify strategic partnerships that increase market reach. Represent the organisation at industry conferences and networking events. Build relationships with healthcare professionals, retirement advisers and community organisations. Explore new market opportunities and product offerings.   Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Success in this role will be measured through: Occupancy growth Sales conversion rates Qualified lead generation Cost per lead Digital engagement metrics Website traffic and enquiry conversions Social media growth and engagement Brand awareness Customer satisfaction Referral generation Marketing return on investment (ROI)   Qualifications and Experience A tertiary qualification in Marketing, Business, Communications or a related field. Minimum 5 years' experience in sales and marketing leadership. Proven success managing digital marketing campaigns and social media platforms. Strong commercial and financial acumen.
