JOB SUMMARY:
Our client based in Pretoria is looking for a Senior AWS Developer to be on a 12 months extendable contract

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The candidate must have AWS experience in Glue (AWS ETL tool) and PostgreSQL (relational database).

S3 is optional (S3 and Athena goes hand in hand – S3 stores the data in an unstructured format and Athena structures the data).

Prior experience in Oracle as a developer is essential (development, maintenance and support).

Informatica is the preference to AWS Glue but any other ETL will also be considered – ETL knowledge and experience is also essential.
The candidate must comply to the other requirements as outlined in the job spec. i.e. Bitbucket (source control), Jira, Confluence, Testing, Trouble Shooting, etc.
