POSITION INFO:
A leading South African insurance group is growing its Corporate Actuarial team and is looking for a Senior Corporate Actuarial Analyst to play a key role in reserving and capital analytics across Gauteng.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Building and refining reserving and capital models, transforming data into clear insights for quarterly and annual reviews.
Presenting your findings to senior stakeholders while supporting reinsurance, investments, and capital management teams.
Contributing to ORSA, stress and scenario testing, and solvency projections.
Supporting annual planning and reinsurance renewals with practical, data-led analysis.
Applying your IFRS 17 expertise to strengthen reporting and ensure compliance.

What We’re Looking For:

A Degree in Actuarial Science (or related), with solid exam progress towards qualification.
Around 5 years of actuarial experience, with a strong track record of building models from the ground up.
Confidence using reserving and capital modelling tools like Psicle, Igloo, or ResQ.
A detail-focused, proactive thinker who enjoys collaborating and delivering under deadlines.
