A leading engineering solutions provider serving the mining and mineral processing industry is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join its specialist team. This is an opportunity to work alongside industry experts, contribute to innovative projects, and influence the future of mineral processing operations across Southern Africa and beyond.
You'll be involved in the entire project lifecycle, from equipment selection and plant optimization to commissioning, troubleshooting, and technical support. Your expertise will help clients unlock greater efficiency, improve recoveries, and achieve sustainable operational performance.

POSITION INFO:
What You'll Be Doing Delivering mechanical engineering expertise on mining and mineral processing projects. Supporting the design, installation, commissioning, and optimisation of processing equipment. Identifying opportunities to improve plant performance and operational efficiencies. Conducting technical assessments and troubleshooting complex mechanical challenges. Working closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams and client stakeholders. Providing technical guidance and support to mining operations. Assisting with project execution from concept through to implementation. Preparing technical reports, proposals, and engineering documentation. Travelling to customer sites to provide engineering support and commissioning services. What We're Looking For BEng or BSc Mechanical Engineering. Minimum of 8 years' experience within mining and mineral processing environments. Strong exposure to crushing, screening, comminution, materials handling, separation, or related processing equipment. Sound understanding of mineral processing plants and associated mechanical systems. Experience in project engineering, commissioning, optimisation, and technical support. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Professional registration with ECSA will be advantageous.
