JOB DESCRIPTION:

Are you looking for change? I have a great opportunity for you as a Senior Client Portfolio Analyst with your completed CFA level 2 / 3 and your 5-8 years relevant experience in the Investment industry.

This role reports to the Senior Client Relationship Manager, Investments in Cape Town and has a strong working relationship with the Investment team in Cape Town. Other working relationships include general Relationship Managers in Cape Town and Johannesburg, internal and external asset managers and linked investment service providers.

Responsibilities:

Support the CRM with the day to daymanagement of the client book
Help the CRM to maintain existing client relationships
Assist in preparing and presenting to prospective clients
Perform portfolio reviews of potential clients' existing portfolios, focusing on identifying strengths and weaknesses of the portfolio as well as recommendations for improvement
Assist the CRM in managing clients' investment portfolios
Treasury - coordinate payments and deposits, recording payments in the monitoring system
Periodically review whetherclient circumstances have change and if portfolios require review
Aspire to taking on responsibility for a portion of the client book
Responding to client queries
Responsible for communication anddispatch of periodic reporting to clients
Investment analysis and research
Compliance and Risk Management
Promote and develop robust Operating Procedures across the business

Requirements:

Business, Economics or Investment related degree, preferably with Honours
CFA Charter holder(or studying towards)
