SUMMARY:
Financial Controller

POSITION INFO:

Financial Controller - CA to report directly to the Financial Director of reputable companmy based in Pretoria.

Be responsible for assisting with financial administration, reporting, reconciliations, budgeting support, and ensuring overall financial accuracy and compliance within the business.
The ideal candidate must work accurately under pressure, possess excellent coordination and management skills, and demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Minimum Requirements
Relevant BCom Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
Must be a qualified CA (SA)
2–3 years’ experience in a similar Financial Controller or accounting-related role
Strong Microsoft Office skills, with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Strong numerical and analytical skills
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

Key Responsibilities

Assist with the preparation and management of financial reports
Process and review financial transactions accurately and timeously
Assist with monthly management accounts and reporting
Prepare bank reconciliations and cash flow monitoring
Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures
Support audits and provide required financial documentation
Coordinate with various departments regarding financial information and reporting
Maintain accurate financial records and filing systems
Assist the Financial Manager with daily financial operations and ad hoc duties
Identify discrepancies and resolve financial inconsistencies promptly

Experience within a manufacturing, production, FMCG industry environment will be advantageous
Experience working on Financial, accounting or ERP systems
