JOB SUMMARY:

An established manufacturer of formulated concentrates and syrups for the beverage industry is seeking a dynamic Key Account Manager with experience in the non-alcoholic beverage industry to strengthen and expand their beverage business in South Africa.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Minimum requirements for the role:

Must have a tertiary qualification in Food Technology, Food Science or Consumer Science
Minimum of 5 years’ sales experience in the Beverage manufacturing industry is essential
Must have a drivers’ license and be prepared to travel
Proven Key Account Management skills, with experience in working with targets and budgets will be required
Strong relationship building skills with a good reputation in the beverage industry are important
Must innovative, technically minded and be able to work with technologists

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Marketing, sales and troubleshooting of formulated concentrates and syrups into the beverage Industry.
Expanding business with existing and new customers to maximize growth and to obtain specific volume objectives.
Strengthening the regional footprint growth of the beverage portfolio at Key Customers.
Negotiating sales contracts with customers.
Managing customer pricing margins.
Assisting in the management of inventory within company targets.
Driving project pipelines and key projects across the business.
Preparing annual sales budgets and monthly sales reports.
Providing timely reports and information as required by management, including updates to sales estimates.

Salary package, including benefits, are highly negotiable depending on experience gained
