Key Account Manager - ECommerce

SUMMARY:
I’m recruiting on behalf of a leading international organisation for an experienced Key Account Manager – eCommerce to take ownership of eCommerce strategy, digital sales growth and online customer experience across the region.

POSITION INFO:
This is a high-impact opportunity for someone who combines commercial acumen, eCommerce expertise and strong digital execution skills . The successful candidate will play a key role in developing and implementing the regional eBusiness strategy, with an initial focus on a leading consumer brand. The Role You will be responsible for translating the broader eBusiness strategy into a regional growth plan, driving online sales through owned eCommerce platforms and third-party marketplaces, and developing the digital customer journey. You will work closely with Retail, Product Management, Marketing, Technology and regional teams , while also engaging with international stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement the regional eCommerce strategy, including objectives, KPIs, targets and execution plans. Own the activation, content and technology initiatives that support eCommerce growth. Drive adoption of digital tools and platforms, acting as a change agent within the business. Partner with Retail, Product and Marketing teams to develop and implement channel-specific sales strategies. Develop and manage the roadmap for the online store, including promotional and marketing calendars. Coordinate digital marketing and social media campaigns in collaboration with the broader marketing team. Monitor and report on website, marketplace and customer experience performance. Identify opportunities to optimise navigation, search, collections, content and homepage performance. Monitor competitors, market trends and digital benchmarks. Manage product listings across owned eCommerce platforms and third-party marketplaces, ensuring accurate product information, pricing, imagery and digital assets. Manage and optimise paid advertising campaigns across marketplace platforms. Work with regional and global stakeholders to continuously improve digital performance and customer experience. What We''re Looking For Grade 12 \/ Matric minimum requirement. A degree in Marketing or a related field is advantageous. Proven experience implementing eCommerce or eBusiness strategies and driving adoption across a business. Strong commercial experience, ideally with exposure to technology and digital transformation. Solid experience managing web shops and eCommerce platforms. Strong understanding of digital customer journeys and online customer experience. Experience working within a multinational or global organisation is advantageous. Demonstrated experience managing eCommerce platforms and Content Management Systems (CMS). Experience with Magento is preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong stakeholder management, networking and influencing abilities. Highly proactive, organised and results-focused. Comfortable working independently while collaborating with cross-functional and international teams. High level of integrity, professionalism and accountability. Fluent in English.
