SUMMARY:
Our client, a market leader in the Adhesives and Sealants industry, is seeking a high-energy, results-driven Key Account Representative. This role is designed for a strategic "hunter" who can balance aggressive new business development with the meticulous management of a premium existing customer base.

Key Account Representative

Area: Vaal / JHB South / North West

Remuneration: R25,000 – R30,000 Basic + Company Car + Benefits + High Commission (On Target Earnings R50,000+)

The Opportunity: Our client, a market leader in the Adhesives and Sealants industry, is seeking a high-energy, results-driven Key Account Representative. This role is designed for a strategic "hunter" who can balance aggressive new business development with the meticulous management of a premium existing customer base.

Key Performance Areas:

Strategic Growth: Drive sales and GP targets within the hardware and retail sectors.
Territory Management: Execute a consistent call cycle across Vaal Triangle, JHB South, Alberton, Potchefstroom, and Klerksdorp.
Gap Analysis: Identify product opportunities within existing accounts to maximize basket share.
Brand Advocacy: Deliver expert product training and oversee high-standard in-store merchandising.

Candidate Requirements:

Experience: 4–6 years of external sales experience (Hardware, FMCG, or Industrial Consumables is essential).
Education: Matric required; Degree/Diploma in Sales/Marketing preferred.
Skills: Proficiency in sales reporting (QlikView experience is a bonus) and strong assertive communication.
Languages: Fully bilingual in English and Afrikaans is highly beneficial due to the territory demographic.
Logistics: Must be willing to perform one night sleep-out per week.
