JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our client in the chemical trading and distribution industry is looking for a suitably qualified Product Manager: Polymers and Plastics.

Ideally looking for candidate with experience in import & distribution of chemical products, with an understanding of dealing with overseas principals and suppliers, local customers, relevant Industry / Trade organisations, and other stakeholders. Experience within the Polymers industry, with focus on Plastics. Excellent numeracy skills and ability to understand basic management accounts and finance. Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite programs is essential, specifically Excel.

The Product Manager is responsible for defined products and for growing/ developing and maintaining sales of these products within the industry The Product Manager is also responsible for offering technical assistance on products within his/ her product range to his/her direct existing and prospect customers, as well as other Product Managers and Sales Representative nationally.
