Product Manager - Proline

This role is for a Product Manager responsible for Proline Mobile Devices. The Proline portfolio
currently includes Desktops, All-in-Ones, Notebooks, and Tablets. The range of Tablets has
increased significantly in recent.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Understand the technical details of Proline’s Mobile Device Range Tablets and Notebooks
• Have an excellent understanding of device functionality, operating systems, and
applications
• Understand the price points and competitive (market positioning)
• Promote Proline’s Product range internally (to sales) and externally (to customers)
• Support sales by helping to prepare quotes and proposals for new and existing customers
• Build and retain relationships with the original device manufacturers of the device range
• Administer and run proof of concepts for customers
• Provide device training to internal and external customers
• Manage all daily, weekly, and monthly operational responsibilities linked to Proline
• Thorough knowledge of prevailing and emerging mobile trends and technologies
• Own transport and valid driver's license
• Solution-orientated, highly motivated, and proactive self-starter
• Macro-to-micro versatility: strategic mindset coupled with keen attention to detail

REQUIREMENTS
• Matric with mathematics is essential
• Degree / Diploma / Certificate in Information Technology will be an advantage
• 2 to 3 years of IT sales experience is essential
• Minimum 3 years working experience in IT industry of which at least 18 months working in
a brand role on mobility products (Notebooks or Desktops) are essential
• Previous IT distribution experience will be an advantage
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office suite is essential
• Knowledge of CRM and ERP systems is preferred
• Knowledge of the process critical in sales e.g., RMA’s & deliveries
